SCHOOL DESCRIPTION
Faith Christian Academy offers multiple academic tracks that include a wide variety of
Biblically integrated courses. Foreign exchange students who enroll in the FCA program
attend classes on campus in grades 9-12 that upon graduation are designed to prepare
them to succeed in college. Students in grades 9-12 are required to take traditionally
taught courses in Bible, English, Math, Science and Social Studies. Additionally, a
variety of elective courses are offered in foreign languages, pre-engineering, visual arts,
speech, drama, choir, band, technology and physical education. FCA students have
access to technology labs. Special art and science labs are available as well.
Additionally, FCA high school students may choose to take either advanced placement
or dual credit college classes in which they have the opportunity to earn college credit
while attending high school.

ABOUT FCA
Faith Christian Academy is a K-12, private, Christian, College Prep School in Jefferson
County, Colorado. Faith Christian Academy began in 1972 as Jesus Center School in
North Denver. In 1988, the school moved to the Faith Bible Chapel facilities in Arvada.
At that time, the name was changed to Faith Christian Academy.
ACCREDITATION
FCA is accredited through AdvancEd and the International Christian Accreditation
Association. FCA continues to be accredited and in good standing.
FACULTY
Teachers at FCA are well qualified to effectively teach within their areas of specialization,
as nearly 81% hold current Colorado certification. All remaining non-certified teachers are
actively pursuing certification. Every FCA teacher has a minimum of a BA and 80% are
certified teachers who are teaching in their content area of certification.
